On April 2, 2004 a confirmatory exercise was conbucted to confirm the reports accuracy and I adequacy. From the homogeneous list of building materials established in this exercise, 15 types of materials were ~ampled and analyzed by an independent laboratory, E.H.S. LLC. The results indicated that asbestos was present in 1 of the flooring materials, the black roof p~tch material and the window putty' caulking around the exterior windows ~nd door frames. , The asbestos found in the flooring materials in the bathroom amounted to approx. 32 sq. ft. The window putty , c~ulking was approx. 10 sq. ft. in total. These materials are required by law b~ properly abated prior to the demolition of this structure. The structure at this address, fOllowin~ proper abatement of the discovered materials, is considered ready for denlolition pursuant to the rules specified in DEQ Division 340-248-0270 and LRAPA's Title 43-015-10-A&B regarding asbestos. These materials are required by law be properly abated prior to the demolition of this structure. On April 12, 2004 the asbestos containing building materials found in this investigation were properly abated by the Pacific Environmental Group Inc. of E,ugene Oregon. The waste generated is scheduled to be disposed of at the Lane County Solid Waste Disposal Facilities Asbestos Disposal Site. The mobile home and adjacent storage building, following this exercise, are considered ready for demolition pursuant to the rules specified in DEQ Division 340-248-0270 and LRAPA's Title 43-015-10-A&B regarding asbestos.
