STATEMENT:
The purpose of tonight’s work session is to receive a briefing regarding the impact
of budget reductions in the District Attorney and Sheriff’s Office.

FINANCIAL
IMPACT:
Lane County is facing another round of major reductions in the upcoming budget.
These reductions will have a drastic impact on both the District Attorney and
Sheriff’s Offices. The two departments have a close working relationship and will
be working through the reductions together.
District Attorney Alex Gardner will present information regarding how the budget
reductions will affect both departments.
