storm event of greater than 0.5 inches of rain per 24 hour period. Measures shall be inspected by the permit holder and or the
contractor after each rainfall and at least daily during prolonged rainfall. Any required repairs or adjustments shall be made immediately. L

hours following a storm event.

NOTES:

3. Special care should be taken before planting trees. Excavate area to a depth of 24" and twice the size
of the root ball. Heavily amend site with compost.
4. Swale areas should be clearly marked before site work begins to avoid soil disturbance and compaction
during construction. No vehicular traffic, except that specifically used to construct the facility, should be
allowed within 10 feet of Swale areas.
5. After swale areas are cleared and graded, all disturbed subsoil shall be tilled before capping with 18" of
topsoil. if existing areas surrounding the stormwater facility are disturbed by construction, the top 18" of
shall be tilled. After tilling is completed, no other construction traffic shall be allowed in the , area, except for
planting and related work.
6. Apply seed for lawn areas at rate specified by manufacturer.
7. Contractor is responsible for maintaining seeded area until established.
8. Reseed any areas that fail.
9. Use only shrubs and varieties, as indicated on plan. Changes must be approved by designer.
10. Purchase healthy material at minimum sizes indicated on plan.
11. Placement of shrubs and trees should match design as closely as possible. Minor adjustments in plant
spacing is acceptable.
12. Plant quantity should be based on planting plan, not plant list.
13. Designer is not responsible for plant failure.
14. Provide 3" of shredded bark mulch over planting beds.
