Dear Hr. Brusse:
As a result of a recent complaint, the fence surrounding your yard at 633 Pleasant
Street, Springfield, Oregon, was inspected and found to be structurally unsound.
A fence in a structurally unsound condition is in violation of Section 5-.1-1 (cl
of the Springfield City Nuisance Code. The fence must either be repaired or re-
placed in conformance with Section 5-1-1 ec) (1) and (2) of the Nuisance Code and
Section 22.05 of the Springfield Comprehensive Zoning Code or it may be removed
(please refer to the attached copies of the Springfield Nuisance Code and Compre-
hensive Zoning Code).
By 30 days from the date of this letter (September 3, 1979), the fence must conform
to the City Ordinances mentioned above or it must be removed. If the fence is go-
ing to be replaced rather than repaired, it will be necessary to purchase a permit
from this office. The Springfield Department of Public Works is located at 346
Hain Street and has office hours weekdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
