Dear Ms. Gnisia:
I'm writing with regard to the mobile home stDred behind the residence at 1602 Rainbow
Drive, Springfield, OR. Mobile homes 'may not be used as residences unless the property
. is specifically zDned for mDbile home use. If stDred, mobile homes must conform to the
specified setbacks for the zone in which they are located. Your mobile home may be in
violation of required setbacks for the RA, Suburban Residential District. Please refer
to the attached excerpt from the Springfield Comprehensive Zoning Code relative to
required setbacks (yards). In addition, the plat of Youngstown SubdivisiDn (also attached)
shows other special setbacks of 20 and 25 feet.

Therefore, the mobile home must be setback a minimum of 20 feet from the Olympic Street
property line, 5 feet from the west interior property line and 10 feet from the north
property line. Please call the Building Division at 726-3753 so we may inspect the
property to determine if the setbacks are correct. If we do not hear from you by Thursday,
January 28, 1982, we will conduct an inspection on Friday, January 29, 1982.
