RE: Proposed Sign
Dear Larry:
I am returning your application for the proposed wall sign to be located at 1243 Rainbow Drive,
Springfield, Oregon.
The sign which you arc proposing exceeds the size allowed in a Neighborhood Comlllercial Sign District
(NC). Section 9-7-13 states t]13.t each business in the NC District shall be limited to one wall or
freestanding sign per street frontage. This freestanding or wall sign shall not be marc thelll 32 squarc ICel
for all faces. Your application indicates that there is an existing freestanding sign on the property. Since
the property fronts two s~rccts, two signs would be allowed, however, the sign YOll arc proposing is 48
square feet, 16 square feet larger than allowed in the NC District.
