The combination of excessive deterioration,
improper maintenance and 'old age' has brought
about the substandard condition of the existing
electrical, mechanical, plumbing and structural
system. Those systems in their entirety, fail
to meet the minimum standards for health, fire
and life safety. Extensive work in all areas
shall be necessary before compliance with the
minimum standards of the Springfield Housing
Code could be accomplished.
Submit plans to cover all proposed work to be
done; structural, plumbing, mechanical and
electrical.
Please direct all inquiries to the Springfield Building Safety
Division at 726-3753.

surfaces with enamel paint.

tub surround to protect the walls.

material; replace with new standard material and install new floor covering.

1. The kitchen window opens into the carport; replace window with a
non-openable window.

qualified mason Or chimney sweep to determine cause; correction of
improper drawing shall be corrected.

Standards.
3. The ceiling overhead light in the kitchen and at rear door are not in

4, The duplex outlet at kitchen wall is improperly grounded and is
producing a shock when used; repair as needed to safe condition.
