Number 82-11-29 approved by the Springfield for the purpose of allowing a church to operate Dear Church Trustees: On May 5, 1986, the Springfield City Council adopted the Springfield Development Code, replacing the 1982 Zoning Code. The new code changed the procedures and development standards for review and approval of churches and church related activities. Since adoption of the new code, staff has been reviewing all previously approved Conditional and SpeCial Use Permits for churches and church related activities in order to update our records. The Springfield Planning Commission approved a Special Use Permit to allow a church to operate at the subject address. As part of the Planning Commission1s approval the following conditions were required: ~Approval of the annexation by the Boundary Commission. 2. Site Plan approval within 1 year. 3. Access to the property only from Aspen Street. 4. Full improvement of Aspen along the frontage of this property (to match Uke Village Subdivision). 5. Diamond Street is to be barricaded on the western boundary of this property. 6. Contact Rainbow Water District regarding water service. 225 North 5th Street · Springfield, Oregon 97477 · 503/726-3753 An inspection of your property and review of the records indicate that the conditions of approval have not been completed, and therpfore, your Special Use Permit has expired. Should you wish to use this property for a church or church related activities, you must first apply and receive Discretionary Use Approval from the Springfield Planning Commission. Any use of this property for a church or church related activities without the appropriate Planning Commission approval would be a violation of the Springfield Development Code.
