Discretionary Use Approval granted by the Springfield Planning Commission on December 7, 1988 Dear Father Janowicz: On December 7, 1988 the Springfield Planning Commission approved your application for Discretionary Use Approval to operate a church at 704 Aspen Street. This decision becomes final, unless appealed in Accordance with Article 15 of the Springfield Development Code, within 10 calendar days of the date the Planning Commission granted approval (December 18, 1988). The Planning Commission approval included the following Conditions: 1: Completion of the Site Plan Review process for Phase I.. 2. The bell tower is required to conform to the height standards for such structures as specified in the Springfield Development Code. What this means is that if you wish to have the bell tower higher than the 30 foot height limitation of the Code a Variance must be requested. 3. Although approval has been granted for Phase II conceptually, Phase II will require a Type II Site Plan and b.e subject to the standards in affect at the time of the Site Plan application.
