This letter is YOUR NOTIFICATION that the above listed building
permit has expired and is "...null and void..." per Oregon
Building Code Section 303,(d) [OSSSC).
Section 305(b), OSSSC,states lilt shall be the duty of the person
doing the work authorized by a permit to notify the building
official that such work is ready' for inspection."
Our records indicate that the last activity on this project is in
excess of more than.one year ago. The "...final inspection and
approval of all buildings & structures..." required prior to for
occupancy as required by Section 305 (d), OSSSC.
Recently, an agreement was made between Lane County and the cities
of Eugene and Springfield resulting in the creation of an 'Urban
Transition Area' where the respective city codes apply as well as
the State of Oregon Building Code.
If your address is within the Urban Transition Area, any permit
application must be made' to 'your respective city building
department.
When applying for a new permit, you may bring this letter, as a
records referral, along with the construction documents, i.e.,
plans, details, etc., and any previous documents related to permit
#1537-79 to your city 'building department'.
