The US Postal Service has listed in its data base the address 521 'X2 5`h St. for the commercial portion of the house which was at one time the old McMurray's Store. I have purchased a franchise from a company named Real Property Management out of Salt Lake City Utah. I will own the territory rights for the Eugene — Springfield market. Real Property Management will provide residential property management services for property owners in this market place. I will be working alone in the office. The State of Oregon requires that all licensed property managers have a physical location to store documents related to their property management clients. It is rare that a client would ever come to the business address. Percentage of floor space used for the business: The total square footage of the house is 4100 sq ft. Lower walls are covered with lap siding while shingles finish the upper sections. A jerkinhead roof covers the higher section, while a one-story wing has a gabled roof. . Angled braces support the gabled overhang. A shed roof dormer in the rear has a multi-light window: There are two brick chimneys, one interior and a more recent addition on the side. Concrete 'steps abut the street end of the one-story wing, a survival from the time that this was "Edwards Market." Major remodeling has taken place since the store was closed. In the mid 1920's this building was purchased from George Perkins and in 1926 became McMurray's Store.
