ORDINANCE NO. 5976
AN ORDINANCE WITHDRAWING CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY KNOWN AS THE MIDWAY
MANOR MOBILE HOME PARK, LOCATED IN THE GLENWOOD AREA OF WEST
SPRINGFIELD, SOUTH OF FRANKLIN BOULEVARD AND 15TH AVENUE, EAST OF
HENDERSON AVENUE, AND NORTH OF 19TH AVENUE; TAX LOTS 13302, 13303, 14000,
T17S R03W S34 MAP 43; HERETOFORE ANNEXED TO THE CITY OF SPRINGFIELD FROM
THE GLENWOOD WATER DISTRICT.
WHEREAS, certain real property described below was annexed to the City of
Springfield by order of Lane County Local Government Boundary Commission under
Boundary Commission File Number EC SP 00 - 04 (Expedited Procedure) and further
described in Exhibit A & B, and

WHEREAS, the property to be withdrawn is located within the boundaries of the
Glenwood Water District, and
WHEREAS, the City of Springfield Common Council held a public hearing and first
reading in the Springfield City Council Chambers on February 20, 2001, and a second
reading and adoption on March 5, 2001, in accordance with ORS 222.524, for the purpose
of hearing any objections to the withdrawal of the property mentioned from the public
service district mentioned and there having been no objections raised.

NOW THEREFORE THE CITY OF SPRINGFIELD DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: The Common Council of the City of Springfield does hereby determine
that the real property described should be in the best interest of the City of Springfield
withdrawn from the Glenwood Water District in Lane County, Oregon, insofar as the
property is located therein.
Section 2: The Common Council of the City of Springfield does hereby determine
that the following described real property within the boundaries of the Glenwood Water
District is and shall be upon the effective date of this ordinance withdrawn from the
Glenwood Water District in lane County, Oregon, said property being described as follows:
Township 17South, Range 03West, Section 34, Map 43, Tax Lots 13302,13303, 14000;
as more particularly described in Exhibit A of this ordinance, Boundary Commission File
Number EC SP 00 - 04.
ADOPTED by the Common Council of the City of Springfield this 5th day of March,
2001, by a vote of -L for and ~ against.

Beginning at a point on the east margin of Henderson A venue, said point being North
00023 '20" East 518.00 feet from the intersection of the east margin of Henderson Avenue
with the north margin of 19th A venue; running thence along the east margin of Henderson
Avenue North 00023'20" East 776.90 feet; thence leaving said east margin and running
along the south marginof 15th Avenue South 88035'30" East 636.60 feet to a point on the
west margin of that certain tract ofland conveyed to Lane County on August 15, 1960 in
Reel 157 -60D, Reception No. 7385 of the Lane County Oregon Deed Records; thence
along the west margin of said Lane County tract, parallel to and 1.00 foot westerly of the
west margin of Lexington Street, South 00 001'15" East 912.22 feetto a point on the north
boundary of that certain tract ofland conveyed to John James and Constance K. Jensen,
JeraldJ. and CarolynD. Jensen, and Jeffrey J. and Katherine A. Jensen by deed recorded
on October 18, 1990 on Reel 1659, Instrument No. 90-50456 of the Lane County
Oregon Deed Records; thence leaving the west margin of said Lane County tract and
running along the north boundary of said Jensen tract, and the westerly extension thereof,
North 890 59'30" West 503.03 feet to a point on the east margin of that certain parcel of
land conveyed to the Oregon Christian Missionary Convention, a corporation, by deed
recorded October 1, 1953 in Volume 25, Instrument No. 13791 of the Lane County
Oregon Deed Records; thence along the east margin of said parcel North 00 023 '20" East
