OREGON 97477 DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS, January 17, 1977 346 MAIN STREET 747-4221 Mrs. Mavis Goosela 160 Allen Avenue Springfield, OR 97477 Dear Mrs. Goosela: ( At the request of Mrs. Deal, occupant of the house located at 1311 North 7th Street, Springfield, the Building Department of the City of Springfield made a housing inspection at the aforementioned location. ( The following items were found to be in need of repair orreplacemen~ to conform with the Uniform Housing Code as adopted by the City of Springfield. 1. All 15 and 20 amp breakers: must have a main ahead of them. 2. The hot water heater must be wired with' #10-2 with ground A.W.G. -3. The windows in all sleeping rooms must have an openable area with not less than 22" in any direction and must open 'freely. 4. The access hole to the attic of the house from the garage area must have a door with a one-hour, fire resistive rating or equivalent. - , 5. The attic space must be provided with a net free ventilating area of not less than 1/150 of the area of the space ventilated. 6. All habitable rooms shall be provided with natural light by means of windows with an area of not less than one-tenth of, the floor of such rooms with a minimum often (10) square feet. Not less than one-half of the required window area shall be ?penable to provide natural ventilation. 7. All crawl space vent must be screened. 8. The crawl space access hole must have a cover. All necessary permits must be obtained before work is started and all work must be completed according to ,applicable codes and inspected before a certificate of compliance is issued.
