Subject: Flow test for MountainGate Phase4
During the new waterline flushing yesterday, I took the opportunity to run a hydrant flow test at the
"worst case" hydrant in Phase 4. As you can see below the flow at 32 psi residual is very close to the
1500 gpm required ata20 psi residual. All other hydrants installed in MountainGate Subdivision will
easily exceed 1500 gpm with the 8" temporary line in place. The pressure reducing valves in Phase 2
will be installed and put in service next week. The pump station will be left operational but not running
until the waterline is completed in Phase 3B. Egge Sand & Gravel started construction of the utilities in
Phase 3B yesterday and, appear to be making good progress.
