Dear Mr. Darnielle:
The purpose of this letter is to request a two-year extension for the Discretionary Use Permit for
the MountainGate Quarry Reclamation granted on June 4, 2004, and approved for two years until
June 2006.
Reclamation activity was conducted in 2004 to the extent pOssible until prepared materials can
be removed and placed through the construction of Phase IV. Permits for construction of Phase
IV have not yet been issued and reclamation can therefore not be completed within the 2-year
permitted time frame.
If there is additional information required please let me know. I will provide the required fee of
$754 for the extension as soon as possible.
