In accordance with Discretionary Use criteria of Springfield Development Code Article 10 and the standards of Springfield Development Code Articles 16, construction practices not normally associated with residential development require a public hearing and discretionary approval. The park design i~ not in question, only the method of site preparation. This site was not a permitted commercial quarry and is not subject to Oregon Department of Geology and Mining Industry regulations. SUBJECT PROPE~TY LOCATION: thel subject site is located at the southwest area of the MountainGate Master Plan Develo'pment Site, north of Weyerhaeuser Road and the Golden Terrace Subdivision, east ,of S.57th Place, within Springfield's Urban Growth Boundary. The property is otherwise identified as Tax Lot 300 on Lane County Assessor's Map #18-02-04-11. I I DATE, TIME, PLACE AND LOCATION qF THE HEARINGS: Notice is hereby given that: I On Wednesday, the 28th day of April, 2004, the Springfield Hearing Official will conduct a public hearing at the hour of 9:00 a.m. in the Springfield City Council Chambers, 225 Fifth Street, Springfield, Oregon to hear ~ny and all persons for or against the proposed construction practices. I ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: The application, all documents and evidence relied upon by the applicant; applicable criterialand a copy of the staff report are available for a free inspection. Copies will be availab!e 7 days in advance of the public hearing at a cost of $0.75 for the first page and $0.50 for each additional page from the , , Development Services Department, 2251Fifth Street, Springfield, Oregon. .
