The Springfield Utility Board (SUB) Water Division has no objection to the proposed quarry site reclamati~n. f 2. The Springfi~ld Utility Board has som~ concerns with blasti~g at the quarry site. SUB . , has two steel water tanks approximately 1,500 feet northwest of the quarry site. These I tanks are I million and 112 million gallons in capacity. They were constructed in 1956 and 1965. The impact on the reservoits from shock waves from blasting at the quarry site I is unknown. SUB would like to have the Developer provide a review of the tanks and I any potential impact the proposed blasting might have on them. Sincerely, I.
