Re: Alleged Building Codes Violation (COD 11-00360)
Dear Sir or Madam:
Thank you for your proactive management style of alleged building code violations.
HO\yever you are in error as the structure in question has been legally pennitted since circa
1988 when I placed a potato chip R&D plant in the facility. At the time you required that
garbage containers be stored out of sight as part of your minimum site review. The structure
in question is a non-bearing enclosure of the porch and has not had any changes to it to my
knowledge over all these years.
Furthemi.ore; I believe that your records should show when I converte'd.the veterinarian
bospicll to ap~imi.ents and commercial use it was all done with pennitsfrom the city and
met c6de sraiidaids in place at the time and was approved by those responsible for making
final mspections.
N at to beg the question, but the City Building Codes do allow for enclosing a porch without
pennits, does it not? - - . --- -

P~S. . I didn't know so many people would be interested in a covered porch.
