Re: Alleged Building Codes Violation (COD 11-00360)
Dear Sir or Madam:
Thank you for your proactive management style of alleged building code violations.
However you are in error as the structure in question has been legally permitted since circa
1988 when I placed a potato chip R&D plant in the facility. At the time you required that
garbage containers be stored out of sight as part of your minimum site review. The structure
in question is a non-bearing enclosure of the porch and has not had any changes to it to my
knowledge over all these years.
Furthermore, I believe that your records should show when I converted the veterinarian
hospital to apartments and commercial use it was all done with permits from the city and
met code standards in place at the time and was approved by those responsible for making
final inspections.
Not to beg the question, but the City Building Codes do allow for enclosing a porch without
permits, does it not?
yours,
z
