Dear Mr. Lenk:
Our records indicate that on July 3) > 1996, YOll submitted plans for the proposed construction of an
addition and remodeling project to your residence located III 2429 Ranch Drive, Springfield, Oregon. To
date, the plans and required permits for this construction have not been obtained.
The Sprin!;field Buildin!; Safety Codes Administrative Code Slates that "Applications for which no permit
is issued within 180 days following the date ofapplicatioll shall expire by limitation, and plans and other
data submitted for review may thereafter be returned 10 the applicant or destroyed by the 13uilding
Official." The Code further states thai, "The 13uilding Official may extend the time for action by the
applicant for a period not exceeding) 80 days upon request by the applicant showing that circumstances
beyond the eontrol of the applicant have prevented aelion li'om being taken, No application shall be
extended more than once. In order to renew action on an application after expiration, the applicant shall
resubmit plans and pay a new plan review fee."
If you would like your plans returned to you, please phone me within ten (10) days from the date of this
letter and I would be happy to mail them to you, If I do nol hear from you within ten (10) days, I will
destroy the plans,
