RE: DRC2009-00044/1434 D Street
Liz,
Here's the RV plumbing connections standard:
1. The RV Potable water inlet shall be connected to a potable water hose connected to a potable water supply
hose faucet with anti-siphon device.
2. The RV waste pipe outlet shall be connected to a sloped and supported RV flexible waste pipe connected to a
minimum 3 inch sanitary sewer riser pipe opening.
Plumbing permits and inspections are required for the Final RV plumbing connections, sanitary sewer pipe extensions,
and potable water line extensions.
Hope this helps,

Steve,
In order to meet the criteria for approval the 5th wheel would need to be connected to sewer and water as required in
an RV park. Could you send me an e-mail describing how they connect and what permits are needed. Is it to a c1eanout
,
for the sewer? Is a hose connection from the home OK for water? Do they need to hire a plumber or can they do the
work themselves if both the homeowner and RV resident are renters? I'll write this up as conditions in the decision.
Thanks for your help,
Liz

Liz,
I haven't inspected one of these in a long time, but I remember a sanitary sewer permit and inspection requirement for
the RV direct connection. In his letter Robert Crowson indicates using a septic service company to routinely pump out
the RV holding tank. Are you OK with this in lieu of a sanitary sewer connection? It's your call.
