OREGON 97477 DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS February 15, 1977- 348 MAIN STREET 747.4221 Mr. Galen Ness 38442 Upper Camp Creek Road Springfield, OR 97477 RE: 1910 'Scott Road, Housing Inspection Dear Mr. Ness: At your request the Building Department of the City of Springfield made a housing inspection on February 14, 1977, at 1910 Scott Road, Springfield, Oregon. The following items were found to be in need of repair or replacement to conform to the Uniform Housing Code as adopted by the City of springfield. 1. All the windows must open freely. 2. A 'stricker plate should be installed on the rear bedroom door, and the door should open and close freely. 3. The exhaust fan in the range hood needs repair. 4. There must be a six foot-six inch clear headroom at the steps leading from the utility room to the garage. 5. The ceiling and walls of the garage must be covered with 5/8" type-X sheetrock to provide a I-hour fire protection. The wall with the fireplace. in it is approved as is (west wall) . 6. The attic area was not designed as a habitable area and should be used for storage only. 7. The receptacle on the west wall in the garage has reversed polarity. 8. A main breaker is required ahead of all 15 & 20 amp breakers. 9. All wire must be spliced in an approved manner and said splices must be made in an approved junction box. All necessary permits must be obtained before work begins, and all work must be accomplished according to applicable codes and inspected before a Certificate of Compliance will be issued.
