Plans show the replacement of a small walk-in cooler with a larger one. Refrigerant consists of 19.5 lbs of R-404A, a
Class A 1 referigerant. This is below the 220 lb. threshold for certain fire code requirements in SFC Section 606. The
condensors are located outside of the building, eliminating mechanical room refrigerant detection requirements. R~404 is
considered a low toxic and non-flammable refrigerant, eliminating requirements for emergency control devices, handling
restrictions and relief device locations.

the comment that the installation of new roof top condensers must meet OAR for DEQ Noise regulations (340-035-0035).
