( Applicant shall protect the existing water well, located on Tax Lot 300 of Assessors map 17-03- 24 31. All improvements and activities shall comply with state rules relative t60 wellhead protection. Relative Oregon Administrative Rules (OARs) are as follows: 1. OAR 690-210-0030. No sewer pipes (storm or sanitary) shall be placed within 50' of the wellhead. Lots 5 and 8, as well as the right-of-way of North 16th Street, are encumbered by this rule. A 50' radius wellhead protection easement shall be shown on 5the final plat and on all engineering documents. 2. OAR 690-210-0250. The well casing is to be at least 12" above all adjacent ground. All new construction associated with this subdivision shall be graded so as to drain surface water away from the well. \ 3. OAR 690-21-0050. The existing well shall not be altered in any manner as to alter the casing integrity from being securely covered to prevent any foreign substance from entering the well. This condition does not require the applicant to reconstruct the well to comply with this rule. However, the applicant is restricted from constructing any improvements (public or private) that would introduce any foreign substance from entering the well (which might contaminate the ground water).
