Suite 408 Salem, Ore9on 97301 SUBJECT: Building Permits For The Kroehler Sleep Center At 1186 Gateway Loop And The Chalet Restaurant At 1174 Gateway Loop Dear Mr. Koupal: In regard to the above referenced building permits, and. based on the work record' that your company has recently submitted to this office, the Building Official has determined that sufficient activity has occured for the building permits to remain valid. Keep in mind that per Section 302 (a) of the 1976 Oregon State Structural Specialty Code and Fire & Life Safety Code, in effect at the time of permit issuance, 120 days is the maximum time allowed with no activity on a jOb site. Since the last entry in your work records was July 19th, work will need to take place and be inspected by the Springfield Building Division on both job sites by November 19th, in order to insure continued validity of the two building permits. However, you will note that some of the other requirements stated in my letter of September 19, 1980 remain to be met. The agreements required by the Site Plan Review Board have not yet been received by the Springfield Building Division. As you may recall the Site Plan Review Board required the following three items: 1. A joint use access agreement between M. Jacobs Fine Furniture and Kroehler Sleep Center. 2. Written permission from Pacific Power and Light for parking in their easement. 3. Written verification relative to the planting of trees in the Pacific Power and Light easement. The above stated requirements will need to be complied with as soon as possible in order for work to continue on these job sites. r' . . f Building Permits Kroehler Sleep Center, Chalet Restaurant Page 2.
