What you have provided looks good, everything seems to be covered. I am sorry I didn't get back to you sooner, I think me and Andy Limbird got our wires crossed on who was getting back to you. Drove by the mall the other day and the work for Cabela's is looking good. Subject: RE: Generator containment info Clayton, We have prepared the draft revision drawings to address the drainage within the emergency generator enclosure at the Cabela's project. I would like to give you the opportunity to review and comment on the proposed configuration prior to us sending out our final revision drawings. Please see the attached draft revisions (the changes are clouded), and let me know if you have any comments. Per your request (see email below), we have daylighted drain pipe through the adjacent curb. Signage will be addressed on the architectural drawings. Thank you, Geoff Larsen, P.E. ""1 >Staff does not support piping the generator enclosure drainage to the outside wall and allowing it to drain across the sidewalk and parking lot. I would encourage you to discuss the storm water drainage details with the City's Public Works Engineer for this >project, Clayton McEachern I have discussed the matter with Andy Limbird (the assigned planner) and the proposed drainage pathway across the parking lot is acceptable, with the following conditions: 1. The drain pipe from the enclosure to the curb face must be equipped with a shutoff valve that is closed during refueling/servicing or testing of the generator, with an attached sign that states this (we can provide an example if necessary) 2. The drain pipe cannot discharge across the sidewalk adjacent to the generator structure, but must go under the sidewalk and discharge onto the parking lot via a weep hole in the curb face 2 O",t.;, heCei\led:_.y'J//~/L- Planner: AL - i ~.
