Mark: It is regrettable that Pacific Power was unwilling to accommodate the newly-planted parking lot trees within the
transmission line easement. Staff acknowledges that this was an unforeseen development that requires an adjustment
to the site landscaping plan. To address the situation, Planning requests a revised landscaping plan detail for the
affected parking lot islands. Replacing the 12 trees with appropriate ornamental shrubs is recommended to maintain a
sense of balance and continuity for the parking lot landscaping. An emailed .pdf diagram with the requested changes
noted would be acceptable. Please let me know if you have any questions. Thanks
