Andy,
Attached, will find the proposed modification to our Gateway Mall paving/grading plans to address the access ramp
issue we discussed on Tuesday of this week. In summary, we are proposing to leave the ramp in the current location
because of the safe crossing location behind the stop bar. We intend to break the curb and plant bed at this location to
allow access to the ramp. Please let me know if you have any additional comments on this.
Kip,
Would you please review the attached revisions to our original grading and paving plans and let me know if you have
any comments. Please also let me know if you need to see a formal drawing revision for this change. If not, we intend
to issue the attached sketch in response to the RFI.
Please call or email with any questions.
Thank you much,
Geoft Larsen, P.E.

Hi Andy,
We have a construction change in progress on the Cabela's project that wewould like to get your input on. We
overlooked an existing ADA ramp on the sidewalk leading to the 1-5 bridge when developing our site layout, and are
currently showing a plant bed (endosed by curb and gutter) to be constructed at the bottom of the ramp (see
attached). As a result, we will need to relocate and/or remove the existing ramp.

insight. We would also like to get your feedback on relocation options for this ramp, or whether or not the ramp can be
removed and replaced with sidewalk (without relocation).
Please give me a call when you have the opportunity so we can discuss further.
Thank you,
