Amy: Attached is a site diagram showing the location of a proposed diesel emergency generator for the Cabela's store.
This feature was not shown on the approved Final Site Plan for the project. Please review the manufacturer cutsheets
and advise ifthe proposed style and location of generator can be accommodated. The applicant advises that secondary
containment should be built-in to the generator design. However, because the presence of a diesel-fueled generator
was not contemplated in the Drinking Water Protection review for this site, please let me know if this triggers the
requirement for a DWP permit. Thanks!

:Standard Features
Kohler Co. provides one-source responsibility for the
generating system and accessbries.
The generator set and its components are prototypa-
tested, factory-built, and production-tested.
The 6.0 Hz generator set offers a UL 22.0.0 listing.
The generator set accepts rated load in one step.
The 6.0 Hz_generator set meets NFPA 110, Level 1,
when equipped with the necessary accessories and
instalied per NFPA standards.
The 6.0 Hz generator set engine is certified by the
Environmental Protection Agency (EP A) to conform to
Tier 3 nonroad emissions regulations.
A one-year limited warranty covers ali systems and
components. Two., five-, and ten-year extended
warranties are also available.
Alternator Features:
o The unique Fast-Response TN II excitation system
delivers excellent voltage response and short circuit
capability using a permanent magnet (PM)-excited
alternator.
o The brushless, rotating-field aitemator has broad
range reconnectability.
Other Features: -
a Controllers are avaliabie for all applications. See
controller features inside.
o The low coolant level shutdown prevents overheating
(standard on radiator models only).
o Integral vibration isolation eliminates the need for
under-unit vibration spring isolators.
