Pacific Power has stated that GGP must remove the 12 trees that were planted directly under the power lines south of the Cabela's entrance. For the trees directly north of the Cabela's entrance that are not directly below the power lines but are in the easement, Pacific Power feels that they will grow taller than the specified 25' height. However, Pacific Power will allow GGP to keep the trees in the easement area if GGP will enter a legal agreement with Pacific Power to maintain the trees to the height of 20'. GGP has agreed to do so. We are requesting from the city a variance to remove the 12 trees to the south. We do not have plans at this time to replant the trees as previously discussed.
