HomeMy WebLinkAboutNotes, Work PLANNER 2/11/2011 . . yesterdays Pre-ORe brought up a number of concerns with the plans not showing needed information to evaluate. They are as follows: No Erosion control plans submitted. How will dust be handled? Typically, dust is controlled through water sprays. This will require a drainage/ erosion control plan. . What type of equipment will be used? Lot 2 will be the main site, but will lot 10 be used at the same time? Will crushing and storage occur on both Lots at the same time? How is road crossing of industrial Ave going to be handled? If it is just when they relocate the crushing equipment that needs to be in narrative, and any road closures necessary will need to be coordinated with maintenance and/ or traffic. If there is going to be ongoing road crossing as part of operations this will need to be also coordinated with traffic and maintenance. In either case the existing condition of Industrial will need to be documented and any damage resulting from non standard use of the roadway (like heavy'off road material handling equipment) will need to be repaired. What material is being processed? My understanding is that it will consist of construction and demolish debris. I am not concerned with toxicity of solid, inert materials like concrete and asphalt and clean fill but building debris are problematic. This material can easily contain toxic material streams that need additional treatment/ storage to be safe. Are there any DEQ requirements for these type of operations? Does LRAP A have any requirements for crushing operations for dust or other airborne materials? An apprcixirnatetrip count is needed so Michael can evaluate if a TIA is needed The submitted plan appears to reference other sheets that are not part of the submitted plans. Do these sheets exist?
