The Transportation Division has reviewed the materials provided with the subject application.
The required findings and conditions outlined below are provided for your implementation into
the land use decision.
General
Finding: Approval of this proposal would alIow for the storage of-material on an adjoining lot to
Lane Forest Products current site on International A venue and additional storage of material at
an second site directly across Industrial Avenue. This application would further alIow for the
spreading of crushed rock onto two other lots within the general vicinity. The entire development
site is located along Industrial Avenue between 42nd St. and Olympic St.
Finding: There is insufficient description of the proposed crushing and recycling operation to
understand the intent of the applicant, nor is there adequate data to determine the overalI impacts
to the surrounding transportation infrastructure and operations. Operations are proposed on
several parcels that do not have Site Plan Approvals. Movements of vehicles and materials
between different lots may constitute land use changes beyond the scope of a non-minor site
modification. and require Aadditional data is required to assess transportation system impacts.
Approval of this application is not recommended.
