HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution 11-12 05/02/2011RESOLUTION No. 11-12 A RESOLUTION OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY ADOPTING AN AMENDED MASTER SCHEDULE OF MISCELI CHARGES, RATES, PERMITS AND LICENSES AS ESTABLISI MUNICIPAL CODE. F SPRINGFIELD ,NEOUS FEES AND D BY THE SPRINGFIELD WIHEREAS, the City has authorized pursuant to section 4 of the 2001 Springfield Charter and Oregon Revised Statutes to establish fees and charges based on costs for specific services rendered; and WHEREAS, the proposed Master Schedule of Miscellaneous Fee's, Charges, Rates Permits and Licenses, Attachment 3, maintains all rates, permit fees and other fees and charges at their previous rates except for Fire & Life Safety Non-Resident Charge, PW Asphalt Damage Deposits, PW Rates (standard), All departments Large Format Copies, Library Card Fees, Overdue Library Item Fees, Library Proctor Fees and added, edited, or increased as specified below; and WI1EREAS, the opportunity for public comment at a public heariing has been provided prior to the adoption of this Resolution; and NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved by the Common Council of the City of Springfield as Follows: 1.) For the Library, increase the existing fees for Non-Resident Library Cards, Overdue" Items Fees imposed and Proctoring Fees in recognition of increased costs as referenced in Attachment 3. 2:) For the Fire & Life Safety Department (FLS), increase the amount of additional ambulance charge for out of area users as referenced in Attachment 3. . 3.) For Public Works, increase the amount of GIS Rates - Standard and expand its use to Encroachment and Placement Permits and Large Format Copies as referenced in Attachment 3. 4.) Except as specified in Sections 1,2, and 3 above, all other rates, permit fees, license fees and other fees and charges for the City of Springfield Master Schedule of Miscellaneous Fees and Charges, Rates, Permits and Licenses shall remain in full force and effect. 5.)
