This letter is to notify you that a plans review of the drawings for
the abol'e project has been made by this office.'
Before the plan review can be completed, the following items must be
submitted or clarified for compliance with the State Building Code,
1973 requirements.
1. Provide a detail of the one-hour protection for the wall and roof
overhang on the west side of the auditorium. [Table No. 5-A
and S~c. '1710, exception #2J
2. Provide a detail of the landing/threshold at the exit doors.
The landing shall not be more than 1/2 inch lower than
the top of the threshold. [Sec. 3303(h)J
3. Locate attic accesses for the new additions. [Sec. 3205(a)J
4. Provide a drinking fountain. [U.P.C. Appendix CJ'
5. Provide restroom exhaust ventilation. [Sec. 705J
6. Provide an outside air opening capable of providing 1020 cubi c
feet per minute. [Sec. 705J
7. Provide a revised seating plan with the minimum aisle widths
as shown on the plans returned to you on April 23, 1975.

8. Provide a one-hour ceiling assembly for the foyer, hall, and
literature room. [Sec. 3304 (g)J
9. Identify each door with a symbol and provide a hardware
schedule for each door. The hardware' shall be identified by
manufacturer and model number. [Sec. 3303(c) and Sec. 3304(h)J
This office requires 2 copies of all additional details, plans, and
schedules. Your early submittal of the above items will facilitate the
issuance of your building permit.
