The above referenced property is zoned Medium Density Residential (MDR) and is
approximately 2.59 acres in size. The Springfield Development Code guidelines for the
MDR district are located in section 3.2-200. Residential Care Facilities are permitted in
the MDR district with Site Plan Review. An approved Site Plan Review Notice of
Decision was issued for this property on December 19,2005 (Case Number DRC2005-
.00065). A copy of the decision is enclosed.
The property is considered a legal conforming use. There have been no variances issued
on the property and there are currently no open building code violations on the property.
If destroyed the facility can be rebuilt in accordance with Springfield Development Code
section 5.8-100. The code can be accessed on our website at: www.springfield-or.gov
