We are building a room addition at this address, but work has been held up by a long and wet
winter. It will soon be six months since my last inspection, and I am not yet ready for my next
plumbing inspection.
I am concerned that my project not be considered abandoned, only delayed by weather. I expect
the next inspection to be ready within a few weeks if I can get two dry weekends to uncover the
work and proceed. The bad weather started up as soon as the post and beams for the floor were
installed and inspected. These are custom and expensive beams and they have been covered to
prevent warping and water damage.
Please authorize an extension, or whatever is required so that my project is not considered
abandoned. I plan to have this project finished this summer, and the weather will not continue to
be an issue after we get the roof up.
Please let me know whatever else is required other than this letter of request, and I or Jeff will
