No. 98-03-63 Dear Mr. Parks: The Springfield Development Code (SDC) 31.0 I 0 requires any business that has changed use or expanded by no more than fifty percent or 10,000 square feet to be reviewed for Minimum Development Standards (MDS). These standards help establishments comply with new development standards without the cost and time required for a full site plan review. We have received your recent proposal to asphalt the remaining graveled area on your property to include: asphalt north and west part of property; install two new drains; curbs and curb stops and parking stripes; trees and drought-resistant shrubs to city specifications. The following conditions must be met to successfully complete this :MDS process: N/A .; Street Trees (5 Red MaIIIes): No street tree shall be planted within 10 feet of a light standard of utility pole. Trees shall be IJIanted a minimum of 2 Y, feet from the face of a curb, and shall not be IJlanted within 1 Y, feet of any other surface paving.
