De~jgl1ed especially for liquid transfer of LP-Gas from consUmer bulk
storage containers when used with a Chek-Lok~ or equipped with an
integral excess flow valve. May also be used for vapor LP.Gas service.
In NH3 applicator tanks they may be used as a vapor bleeder valve or as
a liqujd wilhdrawal valve when installed in a coupling with a dip pipe.
These liquid transfer valves a'-e equipped with an integral excess flow
valve for liquid transfer directly trorn the tank fitting, or withoul an integral
excess flow for LP'Gas transfer through a Check-Lok".
When equipped WiUl an integral excess flow valve {7550PXl, tile valve
should be mounted in a forged steel 3000 lb. half coupling, When
mounted in a 1 y." x y,-' hiP" reducing coupling, the 14" female thread in
this coupling muSl be lull length - equivalent to C1 forged steel 3000 lb.

Designed primarily for use on cylinder charging hoses to provide fast,
convenient shut-off and fast opening.
These valves musl be installed so that flow through the valve is in the
opposite direction to that of a conventional globe valve. This allows the
inlet flow to assist in dosing the valve. and even more important. helps
prevent the valve from being forced open by high pump pressure,

The integral excess flow v81ve found in all these service valves helps
prevent excessive produclloss in the event of fuel line rupture
When installed for liquid wilh(irawal, the 9101 H6 has provisions
for allachmenl at a liquid withdrawal tube. All oHler valves must
be installed III containers that !lave provisions for a separate liquid
Withdrawal.
To insure proper functioning and maximum protection from integral
excess flow valv~s, these service valves should be {ully opened and
back-sealed when in use,
