With the modification of the site plan, one comment that would need to be added would be to have a
public works lock obtained at Heyman's Safe, Lock and Security, Inc. at 131 14th Street in Springfield
(phone; 541-726-1545) for the manual swinging vehicle gate fronting Mississippi Avenue. All other
Springfield Fire Marshal comments for this proposal remain with no changes.

Liz,
Springfield Fire Marshal's Office does not have any comments for the proposed minimum
development standards for the prospective automotive dealership for this site. Access from
Mississippi Avenue is pre-existing. A relatively new fire hydrant (H-1426) fed off a 16 inch water line is
located at the southwestern corner of 14th Avenue and Mississippi. It is well within the maximum 400
foot hose lay distance for the proposed 504 sq. ft. structure.
