This is a response to the review based on the documents submitted on Feb 23.
Outstanding Conditions of Approval
4. The new trash enclosure area shall be covered, hydraulically separated and
piped to sanitary sewer.
The tentative approval on Jan 21 required the trash enclosure that was included on
the site plan dated Dec 29. Since then, the trash enclosure has been removed and a
100% recycle policy is proposed. Refer to the letter dated Feb 9.
As of the date of this review (March 2, 20 10), the recycling proposal is not
adequate to preclude the need for a trash enclosure. The proposal fails to address
the items typically associated with a vehicle repair business.
After discussions with the owner, the trash enclosure is re-submitted adjacent to
the rear property line, with a 2-hour wall separating the enclosure from the
adjoining property. Engineering details are a part of the new submittal.
