CITY.OF SPRINGFIELD, OREGON
RESOLUTION NO. 11-04
A RESOLUTION OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SPRINGFIELD ADOPTING THE CITY OF
SPRINGFIELD STORMWATER MANAGEMENT PLAN
WHEREAS, Oregon Department of Environmental Quality has issued the City of Springfield National
Pollutant Elimination System permit No 102896; and
WHEREAS, Adaptive management for assessing, and implementing new opportunities for improving
program effectiveness in controlling Stormwater pollution to the maximum extent practicable is a
condition of that permit; and ~ .
WHEREAS, Reviewing and updating the Stormwater Management Plan and modifying the permit is a
condition of that permit; and
WHEREAS, The Department of Environmental Quality and.staffhave completed the annual review and
update of the Stormwater Management Plan in accordance with the permit.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY Of SPRINGFIELD, A MUNICIPAL.
Corporation of the State of Oregon, as follows:
1. The Springfield Stormwater Management Plan updated by the City of Springfield Public Works
Department, dated March, 2010, is hereby adopted to provide policy and management.
. guidance for the City's Stormwater management programs and activities within the Springfield
metropolitan area.
2. This resolution shall take effect upon passage by the Council and approval by the Mayor:
Adopted by the Common Council of the City of Springfield the 22th day of February, 2011, by a vote of.
5 for and 0 against. (1 Absent -Wylie) .
