Dear Mr. Limbird:
This letter is in response to the public notice of the proposed construction of a used car lot for tax lot 300 on the conrner of
Smith Way and 42nd street in Springfield. As a home owner on Smith Way, I believe that a used car lot will not add any
value to'this area in any way. In fact, it will only decrease the values of the homes located on Smith Way. There is already
a used car lot less than a mile away as well as others located along Main street. With a gas station, storage units, and low
income apartments in the same block, there are better mixed use or commercial uses for this plot of land than a used car
lot. When this proposed business fails all that will be left is parking lot.
