RESOLUTION NO. 03-28

A RESOLUTION APPROVING REVISIONS TO THE CITY OF SPRINGFIELD'S STANDARD
CONSTRUCTION SPECIFICATIONS, TABLE OF CONTENTS, AND STANDARD DRAWINGS
2-1, 2-2, 3-1, 3-2, 3-3, 3-4, 3-5, 3-6, 3-7, 3-8, 3-9, 3-12, 3-13, 3-
14, 3-15, 3-16, 3-17, 3-18, 3-19, 3-20, 3-21, 3-22, 3-23, 3-24, 3-25,
3-26, 3-27, 3-28, 3-29, AND 3-30.
WHEREAS, the Springfield Development Code Article 32, Section
32.010(2) provides that specifications for the construction,
reconstruction or repair of streets, alleys, sidewalks, transit stops,
and accessways in land divisions and/or developments, curbs, gutters,
street lights, street signs, construction of drainage facilities,
street trees and planter strips within the public right-of-way and
other public improvements within the City of Springfield shall be in
accordance with the Springfield Development Code, the Springfield
Municipal Code and the current standard specifications on file with
the City Engineer; and
WHEREAS, the attached City of Springfield Standard Construction
Specifications, Table of Contents, and Standard Drawings 2-1, 2-2, 3-
I, 3-2, 3-3, 3-4, 3-5, 3-6, 3-7, 3-8, 3-9, 3-12, 3-13, 3-14, 3-15, 3-
16, 3-17, 3-18, 3-19, 3-20, 3-21, 3-22, 3-23, 3-24, 3-25, 3-26, 3-27,
3-28, 3-29, and 3-30 have been reviewed and approved by the City
Engineer and reviewed and approved by the Public Works Director of the
City of Springfield; and

WHEREAS, the Common Council of the City of Springfield has reviewed
the Standard Construction Specifications, Table of Contents, and
Standard Drawings as specified.
NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved that the Common Council of the City of
Springfield does hereby, by review, endorse and adopt the attached
City of Springfield Standard Construction Specifications, Table of
Contents, and Standard Drawings 2-1, 2-2, 3-1, 3-2, 3-3, 3-4, 3-5, 3-
6, 3-7, 3-8, 3-9, 3-12, 3-13, 3-14, 3-15, 3-16, 3-17, 3-18, 3-19, 3-
2 0, 3 - 2 I, 3 - 2 2, 3 - 2 3, 3 - 2 4, 3 - 2 5, 3 - 2 6 , 3 - 2 7, 3 - 2 8, 3 - 2 9, and 3 - 3 0 .
The effective date of this Resolution is the date of adoption by the
Council and approval by the Mayor.
