Concerning Case Number SUB2010-00010; Liberty Bank
This petition asks to partition (for development) of the parcel of open wetlands between Main St. and Daisy St"
. bounded by Waerhauser Rd. and 47th St. on the east. This would create a commercial parcel on the Main St.
Side, next to the Fire Station, and a housing development side on Daisy St.
This property is designated WETLANDS and should remain so. It is crucial habitat and recreation use. ANY
development would compromise that. There is already too much development and congestion on Daisy St. and.
the City of Springfield should adopt some standards to maintain and value a livable area, not'} dense congested
unappealing place.
