As a property owner on S. S9'h St. just north of the subject property, I simply: want to express that any
decision whether to allow development and building on the subject parcel should take into account that
, this property is obvious wetlands.
Much of the year it has standing water on it and the ground becomes so saturated at cer;tain times of
, year that there is water visible in the storm drain nearly up to street level in front of the property.
Substantial mitigation should be required in order to make sure that the water is not simply displaced to
the adjacent properties in the area causing issues where none currently exist.
It seems apparent that the property was purchased with full knowledge that the wetlands existed.
