RE: LOT 20 AMSlESIDE MEADOWS. SPRINGFIELD. OREGON
Greg:
Pursuant to your request, I recommended to you to excavate for the foundation
on lot 20 in the following manner,
1. Excavate a minimum of 4 to 6 inches or until you are below the surface of
the dried out clay soil.
2, Place a minimum of 4 inches of crushed rock base on the pad immediately
after excavation, This will help prevent the clay soils from significantly
changing moisture content.
3. Tie footing and roof drains to drainage system at southwest corner of the
lot. This needs to meet plumbing codes,
I hereby verify this procedure was followed and that the stability of the soil under
the building pad is assured.
