The City of Springfield implemented a 3% administrative fee in 1994, This fee is based
on the permit fee prior to adding the state surcharge, An example using your application
would be:
Electrical Permit $130,00
7% Slate Surcharge 9,] 0
3% Administrative Fee 3,90
Total $143,00
I have processed your application and your payment of the electrical permit fee and the
state surcharge so your project would no! be delayed because of the permit. Please mail
the additional $3,90 at your earliest convenience to my attention, I am also enclosing a
current electrical permit application which shows the 3% administrative fee listed in
Section 5 of the application, Please feel free to make as many copies as you would like,
