Our-records indicate that on July 30, 1997, you submitted plans for the proposed construction of a single
family residence to be located at 4120 Forsythia Street, Springfield, Oregon. Following the submittal, it
was discovered that the proposed structure would not meet the minimum setbacks ifplaced on that lot, so
your plans were placed on hold. To date, the additional infonnation regarding changes to the structure or a
different structure to be placed on the lot has not been received,
The Springfield Building Safety Codes Administrative Code states that "Applications for which no permit
is issued within 180 days following the date of application shall expire by limitation, and plans and other
data submitted for review may thereafter be returned to the applicant or destroyed by the Building
OfficiaL" The Code further states that, "The Building Official may extend the time for action by the
applicant for a period not exceeding 180 days upon request by the applicant showing that circumstances
beyond the control of the applicant have prevented action from being taken. No application shall be
extended more than once. In order to renew action on an application after expiration, the applicant shall
resubmit plans and pay a new plan review fee."
If you would like your plans returned to you, please phone me within ten (10) days from the date of this
letter and I would be happy to mail them to you. If I do not hear from you within ten (10) days, I will
destroy the plans.
