Among the . items noted are the following: 1. At least one plant is missing from the front planter strip along Main Street (see below). Additionally, it appears that the planter strip between the sidewalk and the curb line might be undergoing turf replacement, but at present most of the area is just loose soil. --"- ~}~~~'. ~~:.. . -~, .._-~~,- . .. :.~ --~ '"i""~~,.,,,l b......-t!f',.. The bike rack in the northeast corner of the site is installed incorrectly (see picture). It should be bolted to the asphalt surface and provide sufficient room between the rack and the parking lot curbline to allow bicycles to be attached. 1 Date Received: Planner: AL 7/23/)010 ! In general, although the plant quantities conform to the approved site plan, now that they have been installed the coverage does not extend into the bottom of the vegetative swales. Staff observes that one lease bay appears to be occupied even though no temporary or final building occupancy has been issued for this site. To ensure there are no conflicts with City inspections and approvals, the owner and tenant are requested to comply with all City inspection and permitting requirements arising from this site development. This could include cessation of tenant activities within the lease space until all inspections have been completed and building occupancy has been issued. 3 Date Received: Planner: AL 1/~/~1<7 / . , .' 6. Staff was unable to enter the tenant bays to confirm that sufficient floor space has been delineated for internal bicycle parking in accordance with the approved site plan. I have advised the City's Building Inspector that Planning does not object to issuance of temporary occupancy for the building. However, staff advises that the noted site deficiencies must be satisfactorily addressed before the site is eligible for final building occupancy. If you have any questions or would like to request a re-inspection, please contact the undersigned. Thanks. Andy Limbird City of Springfield 4 Date Received: Planner: AL 7/J,3/.;J<J,tJ ! I
