FW: traffic flow on Chan site

All,
After talking with Andy, DSD would be ok with accepting these changes at the time of Final
Site plan, and not requiring a modification to the site plan tentative (since the changes
were City requested). This new circulation design alleviates most of Transporation's
concerns, and allows better functionality of the site. Jon - please coordinate with Andy
regarding implementation, construction and communication with the engineer and developer.
Thanks,
Matt

Andy,
Ric from Geomax sent this new site layout to me today, and I reviewed it briefly with Matt,
Clayton and Ken. It looks much better from transportation point of view. Ken pointed out
the implications of a site plan modification, so I thought I should give you a heads up
before your meeting Tuesday.
The lack of throat depth is a slight issues, but I believe I could live with this layout.
Sincerely,
Jon

These are the changes we are~OPOSing in order to allowable c~ulation on the Chan site for
a 30' single unit truck. This will certainly' be the largest vehicle on the site other than
fire apparatus. No change 1s proposed for the fire apparatus hammerhead turn around.

This plan is based on AASHTO Exhibit 2-4, A Guide for Highway and Street Design.
I have changed the size'and configuration of the building slightly to accommodate traffic
flow.
I would also like to move the trash pick-up to the rear of the lot.
The delivery spaces are'eliminated due to the loading area at the rear of the building.
Please let me know if this meets with your satisfaction so I can change the site and grading
plans.
Ric Christian
